About Tervuren

Tervuren is a unique village in Belgium: besides being very beautiful, it is home to a large international community (international schools in the neighborhood). It is only 20 minutes by public transport from Brussels, 30 minutes from Leuven and Zaventem airport. You are a stone’s throw away from the beautiful park of Tervuren (and the Museum of Central Africa), the forest, restaurants, shops, a public swimming pool, a wellness centre … a real treat for the holidays. We are also ideally located for business people who need to be in Brussels or Leuven.

Amazing stay at African Heritage Tervuren!

“I spent a month at Ariane’s place and it exceeded my expectations! The room upstairs was very comfortable, spacious, and included all the needed facilities. The shared kitchen and bathroom were very convenient to use. I appreciated the privacy of my bedroom, but also the great company of the other guests staying at the time. If you’re concerned about the distance to Bruxelles, worry not because the tram ride into the city is not too long (about 30 minutes) and is the most beautiful tram ride you will ever take. Ariane was incredibly sweet and very helpful during my stay. I look forward to returning to African Heritage Tervuren soon!”
